The original Agapanthus 'Peter Pan' was a plant selected from A. orientalis var. minimus by Jimmy Giriidlian at his Oakhurst Gardens in 1949.
Description
Unfortunately, this plant has been propagated by seed for many years and it is likely that the original Giridlian plant has been lost. There is also great variability in seedling crops in arboriculture, which is why San Marcos Growers selected one particularly beautiful plant in 1993 and now propagates all these crops vegetatively from this one clone.
This is a compact low cultivar that produces fine light blue flowers. Blooms profusely with many stems. Fine sheet. Only blooms once.
